Wherever I travel to I'm always trying new fruits I've never had before from the tropics, Borneo, indonesia, Thailand, south India, I've been keeping the seeds. Some I sent to a friend in Italy who is growing many tropical fruits some outdoors or in green houses.
Some I kept myself, alot of the seeds i haven't planted yet but have started my own seed bank, some seeds like banana seeds from the sweetest and most delicious bananas i ever had have long moulded off and died! 馃槳 oh how I wish to have banana herbs growing ancient varities of this wonderful fruit!

Now with the restrictions on travel I'm enjoying the fruits of Spain, here in the south they actually grow alot of tropical fruits, mango season is just beginning, the pears have been in full swing, even where I'm staying now has a sapote tree and the fruits are just ripening up. They taste like delicious creamy puddings! I hope wherever I live I can grow these...

In the local organic shop they were selling these red pears, I've never seen pears this colour so my curiosity led me to try these despite the high price tag and oh my gosh they delivered a very pungent fruity flowery flavour that my friend described as elderflowery. The seeds are saved!
