For the past month, fresh apples and pears from our garden have been on our table every day.
First there were Lada pears. This is an early variety, the fruits ripen in early August. Imagine, friends, 40 kg of pears appear immediately. You need to eat them right away, because after a week they will no longer be suitable for human consumption. What are we doing with these pears? First of all, the wife makes marshmallows. But this year, my wife and daughter left for Moscow, and therefore I was engaged in the processing of pears. My wife took some pears with her for our grandchildren. We put the rest in the fridge.
The apple trees are resting this year. Last year it was a warm autumn and the early varieties of apple trees began to gain color, Which is why in the spring the trees turned out to be without flower buds and only the late varieties bloomed. But the Ural Tonkovetka pear also yielded a rich harvest. But these pears are only suitable for making jam, marshmallows and compote. These are not very large fruits, weighing about 120-150 grams. They are the ones in the basket.
On Sunday, I picked these pears and apples from the ground from under the trees. This means that they are ripe and delicious.
Now I take apples with me to the office. Nutritionists say that it is necessary to eat at least one apple a day. That's what I'm doing.
I decided to do a little fruit photo shoot. Well, something like a still life. After that, the apples and pears went to the kitchen, then straight into the pot... But I'll tell you about it tomorrow!
