When I had my camera, going for a walk with it and photographing the small details of the road was more than an exercise to train my photographic eye, it was a therapy.
It relaxed me so much that I hardly noticed the passing of time. More than once I was alone at night in the field, among herons, butterflies and the crescent moon, peeking out on one side.
I miss that too much, now I know I shouldn't have sold it without being sure I would have another one right away. However, today I decided to go out with my cell phone, tried something similar. They had to be in black and white, of course.

Cuando tenía mi cámara, salir a caminar con ella y fotografiar los pequeños detalles del camino era más que un ejercicio para entrenar mi ojo fotográfico, era una terapia.
Me relajaba tanto que a penas percibía el pasar del tiempo. Más de una vez se me hizo de noche sola en el campo, entre garzas, mariposas y la luna creciente, asomando.
Extraño demasiado eso, ahora sé que no debí haberla vendido sin antes estar segura de tener otra de inmediato. Sin embargo, hoy decidí salir con mi móvil, intentado algo parecido. Tenían que ser en blanco y negro, por supuesto.
