Como siempre, agradezco profundamente el trabajo y dedicaci贸n que ponen para mantener esta comunidad. Hoy les traigo una representaci贸n inspirada en una de las cartas de Splinterlands, y es Gargoya Devil. Con este retrato busque capturar la esencia de una peque帽a pero feroz g谩rgola, destacando su morfolog铆a 煤nica y esos detalles que la hacen tan terrorifica. La carta de Gargoya Devil tiene un aura poderosa y aterradora al imaginarme a este ser de forma tal real que me intrigo cuando empec茅 a detallarlo. Seg煤n estos seres son criaturas antiguas con una conexi贸n profunda con las fuerzas oscuras, guardianas de secretos arcanos y portadoras de un poder que trasciende lo mortal. Al realizar este dibujo me enfoqu茅 en transmitir su naturaleza apariencia no tan agradable y su esp铆ritu feroz. Espero que esta interpretaci贸n pueda capturar su atenci贸n y brindarles una nueva perspectiva sobre esta fascinante criatura del universo de Splinterlands.
Hello dear members of Alien Art Hive, administrators and curators! I hope you are having an excellent day, it is a pleasure to share this space with you always and to participate in this wonderful contest that allows us to grow, learn and express ourselves through art and imagination. As always, I deeply appreciate the work and dedication you put into maintaining this community. Today I bring you a representation inspired by one of the Splinterlands cards, and that is Gargoya Devil. With this portrait I tried to capture the essence of a small but ferocious gargoyle, highlighting its unique morphology and those details that make it so terrifying. The Gargoya Devil card has a powerful and terrifying aura as I imagined this being in such a real way that I was intrigued when I started to detail it. According to these beings are ancient creatures with a deep connection to dark forces, guardians of arcane secrets and bearers of power that transcends the mortal. In making this drawing I focused on conveying their not so pleasant looking nature and fierce spirit. I hope this interpretation can capture your attention and give you a new perspective on this fascinating creature from the Splinterlands universe.
Etapas del Dibujo/Drawing Stages
Comenc茅 con el boceto para definir la forma general y la postura de la g谩rgola. En esta etapa, me asegur茅 de capturar los elementos clave de su morfolog铆a, como sus alas y expresi贸n mal茅vola. Despu茅s, a帽ad铆 una capa base con los colores base y tambi茅n empec茅 a pincelar con los tonos principales. Utilic茅 pincel suave para aplicar los tonos iniciales, asegur谩ndome de mantener un balance entre los tonos oscuros y los m谩s vibrantes que aportar铆an vida al personaje.
I started with the sketch to define the gargoyle's general shape and posture. At this stage, I made sure to capture the key elements of its morphology, such as its wings and malevolent expression. Next, I added a base coat with the base colors and also started brushing with the main tones. I used a soft brush to apply the initial tones, making sure to keep a balance between the darker tones and the more vibrant ones that would bring the character to life.
El paso siguiente fue para darle profundidad al dise帽o. Con el mismo pincel suave, trabaj茅 las sombras para resaltar las 谩reas de mayor contraste y tambi茅n fui aplicando las luces en varios puntos, como el contorno de las alas, cuernos, cabeza y el rostro. Aqu铆 dediqu茅 tiempo a pulir cada facci贸n del personaje, como los algunos pliegues de la piel y tambi茅n de las alas. Este proceso me permiti贸 darle un car谩cter m谩s definido y realista a la g谩rgola. Para finalizar, utilic茅 capas de luz suave, superposici贸n y brillo para agregar una vibraci贸n especial a los colores, realzando la textura y los detalles. Estas capas ayudan a darle un toque m谩gico y envolvente al dise帽o, logrando que el personaje un poco mas de vida y realismo.
The next step was to give depth to the design. With the same soft brush, I worked the shadows to highlight the areas of higher contrast and I also applied the lights in several points, such as the outline of the wings, horns, head and face. Here I spent time to polish each faction of the character, such as some folds of the skin and also the wings. This process allowed me to give a more defined and realistic character to the gargoyle. To finish, I used soft light, overlay and glow layers to add a special vibrancy to the colors, enhancing the texture and details. These layers help to give a magical and enveloping touch to the design, making the character a little more alive and realistic.
