Friends, today I discovered a quite charming species. The insect is Toxophora amphitea which is often known as the giant mosquito.
Look at the image below. Its unique body shape with its black color and visible yellow spots on its stomach makes it easy to recognize among the leaves.
What's even more interesting about the picture of this insect is that the water droplets sticking to its body add to the beauty of the picture I got of this insect.
Toxophora amphitea usually spends most of its time flying in search of nectar from flowers They are also known as pollinators like butterflies.
