Hello friends, This is
@mmiya from #Bangladesh.
Dear Hive enthusiasts, we often see various types of butterflies around us. They are truly beautiful, characterized by their two wings, which are often remarkably colorful—a feature that greatly enhances their overall beauty. Butterflies are frequently found in flower gardens; while they vary in appearance, each one possesses its own unique charm, and all of them are undeniably beautiful.
The butterfly I am sharing with you today is known as the "Plum Judy" (scientific name: Abisara echerius). It is a medium-sized butterfly. When resting, it typically keeps its wings folded together, though at times it may leave a small gap between them. These butterflies are known for their swift flight.
Generally, these butterflies are small to medium in size—they never grow very large. Their wings feature reddish and pinkish hues, adorned with small, striped markings. Thanks to these distinct characteristics, the butterfly is exceptionally beautiful. I managed to capture three photographs of this particular specimen before it took flight and disappeared; I was unable to take any further shots.
