A few weeks ago I went to visit my relatives in the city of Torrejón de Ardoz, which is one of the Spanish cities that has bet more on urban art, as the number of legal murals in this town amounts to more than 70 projects according to the website of the city council of this town.
To date, I have presented two of the legal murals
Superheroines
Where the superheroines of DC comics are the protagonists with Wonder Woman at the head.
Superheroes
Here the protagonists are the male Marvel superheroes like Iron Man and Captain America.
Macaw
This week the third of the legal murals that I present to you is a mural titled Macaw located in Lisbon Street and was painted in 2015.
This mural, like other legal murals in the city, was promoted by the city council and was painted, like the murals of the superheroes and superheroines, by the graffiti group "La family".
The mural depicts a beautiful Macaw in red, yellow and blue on a branch with a paradisiacal background that takes our imagination to a paradisiacal island where we can spend our holidays. I think that this interpretation is given by the proximity of summer and the desire that I have to take a few days of rest on a beach in the shade of the palm trees.
