Sweden has some awesome action during the Winter months... Fungally speaking! Here, we have a stump that resembles the shape of a heart from an aerial perspective! From the profile... there are clearly some Fungal friends growing on this stump.

Usually, when I walk by, this stump is covered in a blanket of snow. Fortunately, the snow melted and the fungus is now among us!

With the way the stump and the fungus is stained green... it's hard to tell what is wood and what is fungal fibers.

I really think this stump has some character. I thought it would be a perfect contribtution for #FungiFriday initiated by @ewkaw.
