A pickleball day and a visit from a special guest : September 28 2026
It's a pickleball day - photo from the walk to the station
Pickleball was a slow start affair - not the best night's rest made for a weary brain. Took a while to get used to the different court after a few weeks indoors playing. Did settle down to play some better games
Did overlap with a visit from my wife's grandson - he insisted on visiting his oma to wish her a happy birthday. He did not know his mother had canned his Sunday visit. We spent a lovely half hour before I went to play
A few orchid photos from home - 40 year old plants from a friend
In two tones
We went out to the local pub for dinner with a neighbour - was a good break and a good way to celebrate my wife's 65th and our 15th wedding anniversary
