A quiet day after a big weekend. Getting into a pattern of playing pickleball once a week. It is a train trip from home - was able to sprint from train to Metro.

That gave me a window to walk a slice of Crows Nest for a few shots. Black render and paint killed the spirit of this old building

Fab blue sky day for photo back to St Leonards. Classic car parking up the way - maybe a Caterham 7. They were built up the way from where I lived in Englamd - one village away from Caterham

Had a good pickleball session. We had one new player and a few experienced and our host who have played a lot. Our newbie had a great reason to join our club. Nice people.

Only my 8th time - mistakes are reducing but a lot to learn on tactics. Did not serve into the net - and only twice out of court on serve

Dinner was a leftover journey. What to do with left over brisket? Fry up mushroom, leftover potato. Chopped onion and garlic and capsicum and fresh thyme. Add a bit of aged Chardonnay and chicken stock. Needs a lift - basil pesto and hot paprika. Sauce sizzling - add in the pre-cooked mushroom and potato

Did it work? Yes. Maybe a bit more hot paprika. But always good to conjure up a dish from leftovers from scratch
