This coming weekend is big number birthday - 70 - yep - hard to believe. We have friends coming over for a walk in bbq. Need to have some aged red wine. Drive down to wine storage to collect a case of red. Have been collecting for years
Stopped in Garigal NP on the way back. Hoping to find a few specific orchids. Pea flower to start the flow
Surprised to find heath flowers still flowering - 2nd type for the day. First photo was deleted - out of focus
Also surprised to see epacris longiflora still flowering but always see them here if they are going
Chiloglottis orchids survived the track wirknin good numbers - fewer spots as the track work holds water back and they do not like wet feet
Was a mushroom - a mini one in the chiloglottis orchid leaves
Pearl coloured mushroom. Tough photo work in low light - the bright parts grab the light and kill the focus. Did delete a lot of photos on what turned out to be a mushroom day

No orchids flowering but there were flower spikes on these pterostylis orchids. The shape of the leaves has me confused. They look like orchids to come - maybe last season spikes
Also late flowering - red spider grevillea. We have not really had winter yet - most days over 20C
The grand daddy of mushrooms for the day growing at the base if a tree trunk
Good walk. Got the steps done. Got some aged red wine for the walk in
Was at home for my birthday gift delivery. A box of wine- probably special.
Did cook bbq dinner for my wife and a friend - they working on apartment matters.
