Got a full day lining up. Weird dreams was not the way to start - heading out early to do some shop exchanges and then to rehab hospital to visit a friend who has just had two knees replaced. Our friend appreciated the visit
Next up - my wife's son came over for lunch. Had a fab time playing cars with his son, Ollie. He was in a great mood. We did what 3 year old boys do - play with cars and ribbons.
Cooked a few things on the BBQ - sausages, lamb backstrap, eye fillet, onions. Served the easy way - on bread rolls or with fingers
Did go for an afternoon walk when they left - an autumn shot down the road. The surprise is the gymea lilies flowering. They normally flower from late winter - August on. Not a freak as there were 3 others budding
Double hibiscus ahs featured on this show before. Tennis courts were busy but no pickle ball players. Want to find some to play with

Punk hibiscus. Was aiming to catch a train back - the one I wanted was cancelled - walked back home. Got the steps that way.
Turned into a full day. As I had cooked lunch, we did cheese and biscuits as a snack. Watched a bit of TV. My wife managed to break a toe. Was sorting stuff at the dining room table, cramp in her foot, ripped the foot up and whacked the chair leg. She taped it up - took some painkillers - did get to sleep early. We will decide on hospital and X-rays tomorrow. Will be a work at home day
