Random walk through Pyrmont to Sydney Fish Markets : April 20 2026
Was one of those days - often happens after options expiry when the mood of markets gets to my soul. Was not a bad expiry but it did get to my mood.
Jumped on a train tinhead toward the City to walk the water. One of the new trains. Sat upstairs. Got to say it was a bit bouncy in a few places
Chose to stay on the train to Wynyard and walk down to Kings Wharf from there rather than change trains. Art work in front of WPP building

Decided to walk to the new Sydney Fish markets - past the old. Lots of unused parking spots with the new markets just beyond

The fish markets were heaving. Not a single table available on the long side facing the bridge. Chose not to walk inside to look for food. Did take a photo on the far side on the way out - some spaces here

Caught the light rail to Central. Got a bit busy at the first stop at the Fish Markets - smart move walking one stop away. Got to sit
Grand Concourse at Central Station. Metro toward home - chance to catch up on investing YouTubes - collected a few ideas.
Shopped on the way home. Dinner - bbq sausages on hamburger buns. Simple food worked just fine
