Okay, okay. I kid. This has taken me DAYS.
Sure. There have been a few limericks that have popped out, but none contest worthy.

Behold. In all its completely honest glory😏....
Drum roll please.
Fatter.
I woke up one day and was fatter.
Some say, "Pay no mind. It's no matter."
To be fat? To be thin?
But where does health fit in?
To be honest, I'd rather the latter.
Bet you're wondering, "Why the limerick, Carrie?"
Well, it's a contest, of course!

What's a limerick?
It's a 5 lined poem where lines 1,2 & 5 rhyme and have the same # of syllables. And lines 3 & 4 rhyme and have the same # of syllables.

*Note: If the first line is seven syllables, the second and fifth lines require the same meter (seven syllables each, too); if the third line is five , the fourth line must be five, too.
Also, note: I took artistic expression on my last line. I could have made it two less syllables, but feel it better this way.
