I need to restart the ignatia (thanks!) - it helped when Prince died and may help again with the recent loss of the cat. I've been on a betablocker for almost 30 years now, for tachycardia, not for high blood pressure (mine was and still is 90/50). Does the atenolol ward off tachycardia attacks? It seems to. I'd like to try going off it. A friend got off her statins and her synthroid, but she eats meat, fish, veggies, and fruit, and little else - rarely grains - breaded shrimp set off the coughing fits of sarcoidosis (she has that, too, AND a cataract that's left her almost no vision in one eye, but she keeps putting off the surgery).

You're right. Doctors cite numbers and throw Rx drugs at us.
Thyroid numbers are especially elusive.

Everyone in the Midwest (or north, like you) is low on Vitamin D.
We are all told to take pills to counteract it.

So many pills!
