What a lot of story you pack into a small space! The witch-burning father has gone mad; one son takes over as a hunter of the supernatural, while the other son becomes a doctor... I'm guessing Michael is the father of Hulu's baby, despite stolen moments with Gabriel? "The only friend she had in the Grimm family was Gabriel, Michael's twin brother. While Michael was the tough warrior, taking after his father, Gabriel was soft-spoken, kind, and empathetic." Yet it's Michael she marries. They're expecting their first child and we seem to have a happy ending, but that prologue with Grea, her split tongue salivating at the unborn baby as she commands "Don't be born yet," leaves us wondering what's to come.
This seems more like a novel in the making than a short story. Or a graphic novel - that'd be fun!
