Haunting!
For the child whose father abandoned his own, the missing parent is pain enough. For children to be maligned and judged for the "sins of the father" - that's so wrong! If anything, the community should rally around the fatherless, the motherless, the orphan, the abandoned or neglected children.
He may never return, and the pain may never end. #Abandonment - you wonder how it could be any worse, and you find out, when the community abandons you too.
