RE: Spiral Garden Equinox update 🌀🍎🌱 Chickens, ancient wall & Empowerment Cubit bed
Your creativity and inventiveness bring to mind the great Bengali scientist nobody has heard of (or so it seems), despite his incredible achievements. I can find maybe 2 or 3 brief mentions of him at Hive.

Your pea plants! Your little pear tree! Your photobomber cat! And the photo of the chicken coop, LOL, turns out to be something you did not build, which was my first thought: it looked so out of place,

RE: Memoir Monday #2 - My Mother
I'm on an acreage near a very sprawling "city" where it takes 20 minutes to get from the west side to the east. We have not explored the small towns nearby as possible places to live (the commute,

BEAUTIFUL matte-black sewing machine with aesthetic touches!! My 1949 Singer is very plain and basic. And not working. The tension. I should admit defeat and take it to a repairman. Yours is beautiful!

Ditto that! I've been tending to a dog who was bitten by the neighbor's evil terrorist dog, and it's a long and awful story. Instead of an apology from the human (who now has FIVE RESCUE DOGS despite the

A local artist - and 30 years later you still enjoy her painting on your wall (and how many homes has it adorned now?). That's awesome! New glasses (with prisms?) - well, even with "old lady glasses"

Gorgeous photos - even of little green seedlings in brown pots. Amazing how bright and beautiful they look. Not to mention the stunning red amaryllis. Of course, you know me. Where does my eye go? Tell

One year later, I finally see your kind comment here - mea culpa for my delinquency - THANK YOU for your kind words! The world is getting a little better in bits and pieces, but there's still a lot of

I'm sorry I didn't see (or remember) your "joke about reading the only book on my shelves that I hadn't read yet" - A little private joke just for you. I do that a lot. And you miss them a lot!

Ha! I'll can half as many pickles next year, or better yet, have half of the pickles from this year left over for next year so that I won't have to can any pickles at all. You're an inspiration!! I have

LOL - I love the "dialogue" where each speaker has something different in mind though they're using the same words. And that "uh-oh" at the end is priceless. Thanks for the laugh!

Oh, what a terrifying and stressful image - I'm glad it's past, and that you have a photo for "bragging rights" (wrong word, I know).

Flood or fire - is one worse than another? Floods may be easier to survive, and flooded homes may be salvagable, but fire... I'm sorry you're going through this!!!! Rarely do I speak of the flood of 1993

No, prophets and Bibles are not my thing - Ehrman is famous for explaining why the Bible is myth. (You know I'm agnostic, or maybe Deist, but that I pray out of habit 'just in case' it has efficacy)....

You're not gonna click the link to Ehrman's blog (who has time?) - and I confess I've not read every word of it - in fact, HE DID NOT WRITE this; it's a guest blog! oops! How to Sugarcoast Scripture but

Boy did I ever digress. I was on Bart Ehrman and the prophets (Daniel, Enoch). Ehrman didn't mention Atlantis or the the Moai. Oh, and here's the link: How Easter Island Statues ‘Walked’ To Their Stations

Um, no, I can not see that you're having trouble freewriting, because you always freewrite so memorably and eloquently! I always write the same story - you noticed this during NaNoWriMo and March Madness
