I am like this, like the traveller who has no luggage
Like the desert that has no landscape
Only mountains, of shifting sands
I'm like the night that doesn't know if there is another day
I'm like this, so full and so empty
Meditative and sad
And it's not because you left
That my wound is so deep
There are things in life
So hard and so grey
And certain scars
That close falsely
I can't raise my glass to toast for nothing
A beaten life doesn't even deserve a toast
I'm like this, like a broken-down ship
Forgotten on the shore, of an abandoned beach
I'm like this, I'm poetry without words
I'm the song of a bird, who sings while crying
I'm like this living
With everything and nothing.
