My answer will be yes. It is more than a good idea. In below I will explain how it makes changes the currency system of the world.

This currency system will break down the monopoly of government and corporation. Bitcoin is a decentralization system in which user have full control on the system and no one will have authority to rule his system. We all know that local currency is controlled by central bank and it has power to manipulate to market system. Also a powerful figure has the power to manipulate the central bank system. But in case of bitcoin blockchain system, no one will be able to do that.
Bitcoin is using blockchain system, which is a revolution is security system. Here no one will ask about identity and a user can stay anonymous in this system. Also it is nearly impossible to hack bitcoin system. For a single update , all of bitcoin server updates automatically. So if someone hacked a sever, he can infiltrate into a few server and rest of the server will remain secure.
Though bitcoin is a good idea, it has some disadvantage. We will talk about it later.
