Hive Open Mic Week 154 "Yo Tengo Un Novio Pollero" Cover By @carmenrivas

Hello my very dear Hive Open Mic community. Another week, another theme, another challenge, another stimulus to creativity. This time we join in looking for songs that have to do with "Musical Comedy", those works where people talk and sing and talk and sing again... Almost always works impregnated with humor. I remember the wonderful songs of "Cambio de hábito" by Woopy Woldberg and also how much we laughed with the occurrences of its script.
The union of music with humor is not a new thing and I bring you a song that unites both things, in addition to having great melodic richness and rhythmic variations. There is no lack of picaresque to be more sure that the smile or laughter will sprout.
It's about "El Novio Pollero" (The Boyfriend Who Sells Chickens), which I met in the sweet voice of the Venezuelan vocalist Cecilia Todd . It is a traditional theme in which a character (El "pollero") announces the sale of his chickens through the streets and gives the song its title.
I hope you like our interpretation of it.
This video is another production of the Musical Group "Venezuelan Power" (Name devised by @fernanblog. At his suggestion and our dear
@jesuslnrs we were looking for a name and among all the suggested ones this was the one we liked the most).

I invite you to enjoy this funny song in the voice of Cecilia Todd
Yo tengo un novio pollero,
Mamita si usted lo viera,
que cuando sale a la calle,
pregona de esta manera:
'Van los pollitos, lo pichoncitos,
el tralarira y el tralara'
Y si usted lo viera mama,
y si usted lo viera!,
laraira lara larara, (dos tiempos)
Mamita mi carbonero,
no vino anoche, no vino ayer.
Gallo fino y kirikirikiki,
mamaita, mamaita
me pica la cucaracha,
matamela con un palo,
dale tu, dale tu
Dale tu, que yo la matare (bis)
Laraila laralilala..

I have a boyfriend who sells chickens,
Mommy if you saw him,
that when he goes out on the street,
preach like this:
'The chicks go, the pigeons,
the tralarira and the tralara'
And if you saw him mom,
and if you saw him!
laraira lara larara, (two times)
Mommy my tit,
He didn't come last night, he didn't come yesterday.
and i was waiting for him
from eight to ten (Encore, stanza)
Fine cock and kirikirikiki,
mommy, mommy
the cockroach bites me,
kill it with a stick
kill it you, kill it you
kill it, that I will kill it (bis)
Laraila laralilala
