El Llanito es una localidad, caserío o sitio poblado del municipio Pampán en el estado Trujillo,Venezuela. Ubicado aproximádamente 4,28 Kms de Santa Ana (municipio Pampán) y 12,34 Kms de Trujillo, a 2.039 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
En febreo del año 2010 por segunda ocasión tuve la oportunidad de visitar ésta región de montaña, realizando una excursion donde pernoctamos 3 frias noches.
El camino se hace un poco fuerte por el hecho de ser un sendero con una pendiente constante. Los lugareños pueden hacer el recorrido en apenas 2 horas, mientras que los demás de 4 a 6 horas de ascenso aproximadamente.
El Llanito is a town, village or populated site in the municipality of Pampán in the state of Trujillo,Venezuela. It is located approximately 4.28 kilometers from Santa Ana (municipality of Pampán) and 12.34 kilometers from Trujillo, at 2,039 meters above sea level.
In February 2010 for the second time I had the opportunity to visit this mountain region, making an excursion where we spent 3 cold nights.The road is a little strong because it is a path with a constant slope. For the locals, the trip can be done in just 2 hours, while the others take approximately 4 to 6 hours.
At 8 in the morning the bus left Maracaibo for the city of Valera. After four hours we transferred to a minivan and finally took a truck that left us in the town square of La Puerta.
After presenting ourselves at the police headquarters to notify our stay, we organized the ascent with previous indications.
The first section is a concrete road which immediately speeds up your heart rate because of the steepness.
We walked up the steps of a small hamlet at the foot of the mountain, leaving the pavement behind and coming into contact with the nature trail.
Avanzado unos kilómetros ya se apreciaba una vista del pueblo de La Puerta.
A few kilometers ahead, a view of the village of La Puerta was already visible.
As night fell and we were a little tired, we stopped to recover our energy contemplating the night landscape.
Luego de pasar la primera noche y haber descansado. Se puso en marcha el contenido programático.
After spending the first night and resting. The programmatic content was set in motion.
Sin duda fue una inolvidable experiencia llena de aprendizaje y diversión, recuerdo que el techo de la carpa amanecía cubierto de fino hielo.
Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable experience full of learning and fun. I remember that the roof of the tent was covered with fine ice.
