I was invited this springtime to rejuvenate some pretty old apple, pear & plum trees in a very tiny remote village in Croatia call Zavr拧je. In Croatian this title has a meaning & can be translated like "behind the peak". Recently an international, alternative couple bought few houses in the village & the land around with these old fruit trees. They started renovating the houses & also are trying to keep the fruit trees to have food to be sustainable & as independent as possible but the trees were so high, like 10 & more meters high & the fruits almost cannot be picked so they called me to crop down the trees & to keep them alive but lower so that the fruits can be easily picked. It is not a one season project but definitely we did a big step towards the wished state of the fruit yard & we will continue in the summer, autumn & next spring too. Unfortunately, I had only a macro lens with me but still I did some nice shots with it. I wished I had at least a portrait or a wide angle lens to catch the ambience. Anyway, I hope you will like the shots anyway. They are really mystic!!!
