The place where I live contrasts a lot in the landscape that is perceived, from north to south it offers two completely opposite visions, to the north a splendid natural landscape, to the south another jungle, but of concrete. I am caught in the middle of two moments, two reasons.
But I don't want to decide, I want to be part of the two worlds, I commune with the two aesthetics. I live from them.
And to think that there are people who belong to neither. I just witnessed a devastating scene, right in the middle of these two scenarios. A migrant woman drags an ice cream cart, her daughter accompanies her carrying on her head the box where she carries the wooden popsicles that she offers to the buyers to take the ice cream. The woman points the girl to a school, promising to send her to school when the summer is over. The little girl jumps for joy, the box in tow.
There are light days and dark days, as well as the duality of black and white, so is the dialectic of the natural and the artificial, provoking mixed feelings when not being able to decide which part of the world justifies the inequality of those who do not have access to the enjoyment of the natural, and at the same time denies the entrance to the world of people. To the cultural world.
It is a chaotic world, as chaotic is, sometimes, the wild life.
