So I've been thinking seriously about this week's topic and my worry is that I will end up writing something so boring that no one will want to read it. But then I guess I have to write it anyway and I have to be honest about it because I've read the entry of some people and I could tell that they were pretty honest about it and it was fun to read too. So without any further ado, let's get to it.
Well you see I've always been a guy who falls in love every five seconds with every good looking girl I see and then I date her in my head and dump her afterwards but in reality, I never really had the balls to approach any of these ladies so all I did was just imagine myself dating then and that was it.
The reason why that was the case was because I was (still am) a very shy guy who find it hard to talk to the opposite sex. The words just refuse to leave my mouth whenever I'm standing in front of them. And one thing that doesn't go well with having a first love is being shy.
Well, fortunately for me, luck found me. You see, despite the fact that I am a very shy guy in person, I am very good in chatting with anyone. So good that I'm confident that even the Queen herself would agree to date me if I was given just a day to chat with her.
I say this with confidence because it has been tested and trusted and it all started doing the whole covid lockdown period. A friend of mine had given me this girl's Facebook username. She was someone I knew who lives close to us but I had never spoken a word to her.
We started chatting and before she knew it, she was already adding love emojis to my name. We kept on communicating and it didn't take long before I asked her to become my girlfriend, my first ever girlfriend and in this case, my first love.
Of course I had asked her out online.
I remember the day she visited me for the first time, how awkward the whole thing had been, but then it only got better from there. And though I broke up with her last year, I think it's safe to say she was my first love.
