Another crazy session with 9 Barbel landed and 4 lost to the undergrowth of the trees. Here are the 4 of the best from the nights fishing with a double take followed by a bruiser of a last fish. The Gelatine bait i had made prepreviously worked for a while bagging two of the Barbel but it became tedious to keep re-baiting and crashing the lead into the swim .
Switching to pellet and boilies again soon had them rolling in as the bites became more frequent. Keeping them competing was key with just two 15mm boilies and a pinch of 8mm pellets after each bite.
