We made it. Against all the odds in the universe we somehow arrived at this current moment, ponder that for a second.
Time’s up. Welcome :)
I’m Caita - it really is great to meet you in the midst of these revolutionary times. I hope this platform can provide the steempower for our collective crusading.
Join me in creating a future of peace and equitable abundance. A world where less is more.
How is that possible Caita? - Simple!
| Less... | = More |
|---|---|
| Fossil Fuels | Renewable Energy + Cleantech |
| Centralised Finance | Open Ledgers + Cryptocurrency |
| Consumption + Waste | Conscious Consumerism |
| Greed | Shared Value |
| Self-interest | Community + Collaboration |
| Accumulation | Reinvestment |
| Contented Stagnation | Tireless Innovation |
| Acceptance of Norms | Question Everything |
We are starting to experience the failings of our existing structures first-hand. We can no longer ignore the forces of climate change, rampant debt and inflation, insane levels of income inequality, and good old fake news.
I am however an eternal optimist, and recognise that for the first time in history we have the tools available to make the right hand side of this 'Less = More' equation a reality. I'm also a strong believer in creating value at points of intersection - identifying innovation where these areas overlap will drive seriously powerful change.
It won't be easy, but it sure as hell will be worth it.
All we need is courage, commitment and a little bit of Caita ;)
Please up-vote, comment with any ideas to add to this equation, and follow for future musings and ideas for how to create 'More' (+ more!). Look forward to connecting with you!
Who am I?
Just a young (probably naive) 20-something trying to make a positive contribution to the world. Incredibly lucky to be able to make a living travelling the world developing renewable energy projects. Current homebase in Sydney, Australia.
Big believer in always learning - current interests include blockchain, crypto, metaphysics, design thinking, EVs, meditation, photography, handstands, French. 'Formal' education in business, international studies, energy systems, environmental economics and sustainable development.
