Theme-: "What Are the Good and Bad Things About Hive?"
Hello #indiaunited friends, trust you are doing well. I welcome you to my blog.
I joined Hive blockchain nine months ago through my friend , my Hive mentor. She assisted me in launching via the Ecency frontend, advising on how to navigate and grow. But you know, we often want to make it fast. Hence, the journey began smoothly and was challenging. Staying back in the night to make posts became a nut to crack. I was busy struggling to make posts every time until something led me to the Discord channel of Ladies of Hive. There, I met great and sagacious ladies and gentlemen who taught me how to navigate.
I opened my mind to learn and unlearn. There, I learnt about building relationships through commenting across posts, building presence from one community, and spreading across other communities. I also dabbled in the Ecency discord channel, where I learnt about Waves, Ecency points, and commenting on posts again. I jumped on that advice and ran with it. Gradually, my account began to grow through relationship building and followership.
Before long, my account was estimated at over $100 USD. While I was happy about that, the scammers struck through a deceitful link meant to lure unsuspecting Hivers to a den and strip them of their hard-earned resources. The individual came so hard that it stretched across my major tokens, like over 724 Alive tokens, 54 HBD, and about 44 Hives. It happened like the film Fast and Furious. But I got serious support from good Hivians like the and some sagacious ladies of Hive to cushion the effect.
My write-up summarises that in Hive, there are opportunities to grow organically through consistent quality commenting, posting, reblogging, voting, and joining contests to win prizes and tokens. There are also community activities in the various Discord channels through which individuals can win curation rewards, votes, and tokens.
Again, withdrawals are carried out free of charge; other swap and token conversions, including transfers, are done seamlessly.
Furthermore, opportunities that might lead to physical meetings exist, as I have discussed with individuals who stay in my state of residence, which may materialise in a physical meeting someday.
On the other hand, scammers seem to have a field day on Hive, as with other blockchains, and there is an issue with downvotes. There is also the issue of the Hive price not being encouraging, which has recently received support by stopping HBD rewards in a bid to stabilise Hive.
However, recently I won ten HBD from Hivecreators for powering up activities. I also got some good news from HiveBuzz that I am now a minnow. When I fact-checked the meaning, I was excited about my gradual growth. Though I am not where I wanted to be, I am happy with the progress I am making.
