Hello #shadowhunters friends, happy new week. I welcome you to my blog. Yesterday, after the service, a gentleman from the youth wing approached the women's wing and informed us of chaos erupting in the youth section.
He narrated how a task by the committee to the youth choir master to select and teach them songs for an upcoming event has led to factions. One faction is on the side of the choirmaster, while the other one insists they would not be pushed to heed the selected songs.
After narrating the issue, there was feedback from the women's section. However, I was not satisfied with that feedback, so I requested permission to air my views on the issue and was granted.
I asked questions about the mode of selecting the song, whether the youths were carried along during the selection process, or the song was handpicked by the choirmaster and imposed on them. He affirmed that the committee authorised him to handpick the song and teach it.
Instantly, I told him that it would be difficult to buy their loyalty towards the rendition of that song. Furthermore, I advised him to revisit that decision, call them for a round table discussion, and request their input to correct the error.
Additionally, I advised him to learn managment by objective, where people's opinions are sought and carried along during the decision-making process. That way, there would be peace, unity of purpose, and success.
Conversely, it has been raining back-to-back, so I went back to my archives to get more pictures from my last visit and an indoor capture to share with us.
