Hello everyone in the black and white photography community.

I want to invite you to a new stop on my photographic journey through the magical Cusco region. This time, I got to explore the ancient ruins of the Pisac Archaeological Park, located in the district of Calca, 30 kilometers from the city of Cusco, Peru. This is one of the most important places in Inca history.

Pisac is one of my favorite archaeological sites. As you walk its stone paths, each structure becomes a window to the Inca past, revealing the astounding engineering, and you realize that it has the shape of a partridge. The Incas always built their edifices in the shape of animals. It is a magical and incredible place to take many photographs.

For me, the choice of black and white in this photograph was not only to highlight the forms, textures, light, shadow, and contrasts, but also to evoke a feeling and a journey to the past of the Incaic Andes.

I hope this photograph transports you to the times of Incaic power in the Andes and that it is entirely to your liking.

Hola a todos en la comunidad de fotografía en blanco y negro.

Quiero invitarlos a una nueva parada en mi viaje fotográfico por la mágica región de Cusco. Esta vez me toco explorar las ancestrales del Parque Arqueológico de Pisac, ubicado en el distrito de Calca , a 30 kilometros de la ciudad de Cusco, Peru, es un lugar de las mas importantes de la historia incaica .

Pisac es uno de mis favoritos recintos Arqueológicos recorrer sus senderos de piedra, cada estructura se convierte en una ventana al pasado incaico, revelando la asombrosa ingeniería y te vas dando cuenta que tiene forma de una perdiz, los incas siempre construían sus edificaciones en formas de animales, es un lugar mágico y increíble para poder sacar muchas fotografías.

Para mí, la elección del blanco y negro en esta fotografía no solo fue para resaltar las formas, texturas, la luz, la sombra y los contrastes, sino también para evocar una sensación y un viaje al pasado de Los Andes incaicos.

Espero que esta fotografía los transporte a las épocas de poderío incaico en Los Andes y sea de su total agrado.
