Hey Draw A Day artists and members. We’re back with another Character Design Challenge. This time, the character moves like a shadow, never fully belonging to one place.
Create a character that feels like a shadow that refuses to be tamed. Are they a rogue on a secret mission, a traveler between worlds, or a fugitive from a past they can’t escape? Think about their stance, their expression, and the way they carry themselves. Do they blend into the crowd, or does something about them demand attention? Design a character that moves between places, always on the edge of something greater or something darker.
Here are additional tips to help you:
Main Prompts (Participants must use all three):
Pointed Hair: Design a character with bold, pointed hair or a hat that stands out.
Flowing Cloak: Create a cloak with jagged or flowing edges for a dramatic effect.
Dynamic Pose: Craft a walking or action pose to show the character’s energy.
Optional Prompts (For Fun):
Unique Skin Tone: Use a striking skin color, like blue or green, for a mystical look.
Boot Accents: Add colored details or patterns to the character’s boots.
Fantasy Colors: Use deep purples, reds, or light tones in the outfit.
