luffy has escaped from Anis lobby/Impal Down Prison/Marinford
2.Luffy’s birthday is on 5th May and also on that day is children’s day.

Oda (The creator of one piece) said that

in the new age of pirates luffy is the yongest
5.His height was 172 cm in the start of anime and 174 cm after time skip
6.Luffy has a scar with two stitches underneath his left eye which he earned by stabbing a knife under his eye to show Shanks that he was tough (in the manga only)
7.Poison Resistance
He gained powerful antitoxins in his blood stream from his fight with Magellan in Impel Down, which grant him a high resistance against poison.
8.King Haki
Only one in several million people have this ability. This type of Haki allows the user to exert their willpower over others. It is said that whoever possesses this type of Haki has the qualities of a king.
9.Luffy was actually a very good swimmer before eating his devil fruit. He lost his swimming as devil fruits have side effects (haha Too bad for him)
