This is art from a time when people did not have to hide their faces.
The artist got most tings right, in detail and color. Just slightly out of proportion are the sea life and some of the body parts.
Some pieces get me because the color and subject just pop out at me. Others get me if the work is huge. The scale gets me and I have to pull out the camera. This one, the longer I look at it, strikes me in so many ways. I keep noticing more details that were not readily apparent when I first looked at it.
