I left work about 7 hours early today and took my wife to the zoo. We went to the zoo as part of our wedding two years ago and its become a bit of a tradition for us to go to the zoo and renew our zoo memberships. Just wanted to share a few of the photos my wife took today, hope you enjoy.
Penguin on the lookout. It was a hot day so heading into the penguin enclosure was a huge relief. The penguins were quite active and putting on a show.
Not totally sure what was going on here. it was either some sort of mating ritual or the flamingos were trying to summon a demon.

One of our favorite exhibits is always the river hogs. The are always active when we go and they are honestly kind of cute.
