Hip dysplasia can cause serious problems and can lead to the paralysis of the rear legs in dogs. Even though it is more prevalent in larger breeds, I still took Nelson for a screening. He is only 8 kg, but we have an active life and we run a lot. Therefore, before any serious problem could develop, it is recommended to check for hip dysplasia in smaller breeds too if you are serious about any kind of dog sport. Fortunately, on the picture here you can se a healthy doggo, who can run and have fun as much as he likes.
