Big kudos to the Hive Ghana team for their amazing prompts.
It is always fun partaking in those prompts while some help others to know us more and also we get to know the likes of other authors too.
One of this week's prompts is on our favorite meal.
I am a foodie and I am not allergic to any food except I feel like such things should not be counted as food, an example of what I would not eat snake.
A python was killed and roasted in my area and I was offered to eat out of it which I declined amidst those eating it testifying how sweet it is but I have my principles when it comes to food.
Aside from those foods I decide on my own not to eat, I eat different kinds of food and I don't do 3 square meals a day, I eat anytime I feel hungry.
One of the foods I do not joke with is Plantain
I love plantain to the extent that I can make it my main meal of the day, Nowadays I can just go out and buy a bunch of it, and within 2 days, I would have to finish it and out again to get another.
Plantain can be eaten with different kinds of foods.
Rice and plantain: Rice is one of the most eaten foods in Nigeria, If you want to make me happy, just give me rice, stew, and fried plantain.
Beans and Plantain: This is another delicacy that I love to eat, no need to fry the plantain, just slice the raw plantain inside the beans when it is almost done and serve yourself a nice meal.
Egg and Plantain: This is something I tried recently and it was nice too, I cut the plantain into tiny pieces and fried it, then I also fried the egg and mixed both together.
Even though boiled plantain is more healthy, I prefer frying my plantain... Roasted plantain used to be my favorite when I was small but now I consume more fried plantain!
