I told Gemini to find me auctions for scrap Sterling silver going for at least 20% under melt price with three or more days left before the auction ended. I then told it to double-check that the auctions were truly active and not archived listings. It gave me a neat results page. I checked out the auctions and input the weight into Kitco's ScrapIt app to confirm what I should offer. It worked!
I sniped four different auctions. After taxes and shipping I came in under 30% below spot even with spot dropping below $60/ounce!
What would've taken me hours to comb through countless pages of auctions took me all of 10 minutes to research, and another 5 minutes to set up a bid sniper for each of the auctions. When used properly, AI can help you work smarter and not harder!
