This Time, It's Not Toilet Paper
A food shortage is coming to America.
Unthinkable! I hear many shout.
However, the last two years have seen all kinds of crop problems and failures.
Floods, bad rains, grain silos underwater, poor yields...
Further, The US keeps sending lots of grain to China, while many other countries are stopping exports altogether.
What it looks like to me is that we will have a wheat shortage here, in a soon as a month.
I just paid double for wheat than i paid earlier this year.
And it is not even guaranteed that i will get it.
I paid triple for oatmeal.
Also i am hearing from small bakeries that they are having a hard time / unable to get flour.
So, today i am sending out a warning that you may want to run out and buy bread.
... and a freezer to store it in.
Agriculture is under attack!
- Suspicious processing plant fires.
- Inspectors killing off animals left and right
- Strange "Heat Waves" that kill thousands of cows...
Along with fuel prices surging and semi-truck replacement part scarcity means that food is going to become scarce.
Who knows how much actual stores of food we have.
We normally keep years worth of wheat in towers.
We normally have large freezer buildings storing cut up meets.
We normally have large cooler buildings storing fruits.
But no one is talking about what levels these are at.
From my guess, at the things i see missing in grocery stores is, we are alarmingly low.
There will be food riots around the world.
And, against all odds anyone would have thought a decade ago, coming to America.
I wish i could say, just stock up, but i do not know if this is a waiting game. (just wait until supplies lines correct themselves) I believe this is the beginning of "You Better Change Your Paradigm" type event.
I have been saying for a while:
Buy Food!
It will pay the highest ROI
and unlike every other asset, you CAN eat it
The other thing i continue to say:
in your own greenhouse, or starve
I see bread, in the near future, becoming very rare.
You may want to buy a freezer and freeze a bunch.
