Pit Bullion 2018 STEEM 2 oz Silver Ingot

Yesterday old mate @welshstacker gave us all a heads up that one of our old members @pit-bullion was doing a silver giveaway on Instagram. Not that I am desperate to win some free silver these days but I immediately thought back to a particularly unique piece that I’d picked up from him in one of the old Monster Raffles and so I went looking for it….and couldn’t find it. But what I did find was a few other pieces that I had forgotten about.

This one is a nice chunky little 2 Troy Ounce .999 Silver Ingot with the old STEEM logo on it and the year it was poured - 2018. It’s a really good weight and the classic rectangular bar shape stacks well though I keep it in the plastic satchel bag it came in so it stays with it’s little Certificate of Authenticity.

On the other side you can see the nice Pour Lines and the number 26. I think it’s probably a Mintage Number from memory as there would have only been a limited amount of these poured back in those heady days when STEEM was booming. There would not be a 2019 through 2023 version so these little ingots would be the last of that STEEM era. Hard to believe that was 5 years ago. It’s a testament I suppose to how long we’ve been at this game for and how well @pit-bullion has been going. It’s good to see he’s still active and pouring the shiny stuff even if he’s hasn’t made the move to HIVE with us. Keep up the good work sir!
