I've been looking to sell some of my collectible silver since the market is up considerably from when I bought most of my pieces. At $60/ounce, I'm up on pretty much everything. Now is as good a time as any to look at letting go of some of the pieces I'm not as fond of anymore.

The only problem with this is finding the right market. There are always buyers out there, but it depends on if you're looking in the right spot. I had tried selling this piece over the past few weeks in private groups on Reddit with no luck.

It's a limited mintage piece that was a collaboration between Intaglio Mint and Bunker Bullion. The owner has temporarily stopped producing products but expects to begin producing customer silver bars in 2027. They only made 250 of these pieces. It's very well done, so at 2 ounces of silver it's worth more than melt. The problem is that on many private groups people are more interested in bullion than collectibles.

I'm in no hurry to sell, so I'll continue looking for a market interested in the piece. It's certainly a good reminder that while it's fun to buy collectible silver, it's not usually a good idea to have it be the bulk of your stack.
