Boy, you really got me thinking this time, so let's develop my answer. At this stage of my life, I can say that I have lived a good part of my life. I would have several words that could define my life today; but since I am asked for three, I will name them and describe them to you.
The first word that would describe me would be Changes, because precisely at this stage of my life, I have faced different changes, both physical and emotional; I have entered menopause and as you well know, this brings with it, many changes, which I have seen at first come timidly, but with the months have been installed comfortably in my body and in my routines, affecting my rhythm of life, forcing me to go slower and with more pauses, but I have been adapting gradually and also those who are at my side, it has not been easy, but I have accepted that it is natural and part of the process of life.
The second word would be Resilience, and it is that in recent years, that has been the word that has literally described me, because my daily life has been a mixture of constant changes and mostly negative, with a galloping economy every day, with people around me generally frustrated with this picture, which is not flattering, because this affects us in all areas of life, in the family economy, health, work in short, then it has not been easy, try to make this “wave” of events, do not drown me in the process. Sometimes I feel that these years have prepared me for a higher level of play than others, but at the same time I am not complaining because I have come out of all this with my head held high and emotionally stronger.
The third word, I would say, the one that goes above the others would be Faith. This word is short, but it encloses my whole world, because without faith, I would not have survived everything that I have had to live and that is why I have it present in my days. The spiritual part has sustained me through all my existential crises and I have seen how everything has flowed when my strength has not sustained me. So my belief in this omnipotent being, who is all-powerful and who accompanies me in my days, has made the difference in every crossroads that has presented itself to me and in the way I have managed all my days. Everything with God, for me, is better.
I conclude by saying that I am happy with these three chosen words, since they are a reference for my life and they are already part of me; besides, they describe me perfectly, this is how I see myself and this is who I am today.
