“Wicked jealousy, jealousy, 'cause they kill me if there's no reason...” Something like that says a popular song and how much wisdom there is in its lyrics. Jealousy has existed for as long as the world has existed, for Cain and Abel, in this case jealousy between brothers..., there are many types of jealousy, between family, friends, partners, in short..., but what is jealousy, according to my personal perception, is an emotion that feels like stabs in the chest, in the heart and that fills you with insecurities, discomfort, annoyance, anger, even minimizes you, even as the case may be....

Sometimes jealousy can be unfounded, and these are born from our perception about someone or something that according to us, can take away the affection, appreciation of someone and in our mind we weave infinite stories trying to give foundation to what really does not have, because it is only an assumption, nothing more. In other situations, jealousy arises due to circumstances that are before our eyes, such as infidelities, betrayals, which are verifiable and we have this emotion that fills us with feelings that make our days gray.

Personally, I have experienced them all at times, that is, jealousy for some friendship (when I was a child), jealousy between siblings, when for example I saw when my mother gave all my toys to my brother, that bothered me, because I was jealous of her attention to him as a child at last; jealousy of my partner when I saw some indiscreet look of my boyfriends or partner, especially when I was a teenager. But as I grew up and matured, I understood many things and when I learned to love myself, I understood everything....

I understood that I didn't have to be chasing, begging, or reproaching anyone for attention or to be with me, and this applies to all my relationships, because the one who wants to be, is, regardless of what happens, in good times and bad. You have to let people be and let them be, because whoever wants to be by your side will respect you, will be loyal without the need for you to remind them, or be aware of checking, for example, phones, social networks, to say something. A long time ago, I started to apply this way of living and above all of loving myself.

Because feeling jealousy, whether rightly or wrongly, what it does is to wear you down unnecessarily, because in the end everyone does what they want to do, even if you are bursting with jealousy, it is not worth it. What is going to be good for you can be seen, and what is not, can also be seen. We only have to make healthy decisions for ourselves, if they do not respect us, if they do not give us our place, if they are not loyal, it is not there. Trust is earned step by step with actions, not just words. Once trust is established, jealousy goes to the bottom of the list.... Peace is priceless.
