Pedrito was very sad, because his mother had died. Since that terrible event happened, every day he would bring her beautiful wild flowers to her grave, it was his way of having a reason to "visit" her every day..., many times he would fall asleep at her grave tired of crying so much.... The caretaker was already used to wake him up before closing the cemetery, with great sorrow for that little boy, so small and already without his mother, how sad!
It happened that one day, Pedrito did not arrive as usual; he missed that fact, until three days later he saw a small white urn arrive at the cemetery, accompanied by some children in uniform from a nearby school. As he approached, he saw that his relatives had a photo of the little deceased; it was Pedrito. From that day on, the caretaker filled those special graves with wild flowers, which together seemed to accompany each other...
This is my entry in the Strange Contest No 24. Mother's Day devised by my dear friend @saulos. I must say that your childhood experience touched my heart, it was a very beautiful memory, it shows that life is in those little details and moments, that makes us who we are. Thank you for sharing it 🤗
