Well the weather here in Colorado Springs sure doesn’t feel like spring yet. We had a foot of snow just a few days ago (it’s all gone) but it’s supposed to start get warmer this weekend. I have spent the last two days cleaning my house for my annual Memorial Day party and it just takes me FOREVER to really clean my floors after a dirty winter.
This party sure is a lot of work but I love this time of the year and getting to see many friends at my house is always fun for me. It’s a bummer that many high school graduation parties and ceremonies are this weekend which keeps some of my friends from coming but, I usually get around 100 people who come over during the 3 day event. Territory Days in Old Colorado City where I live is a street festival in an old west town. Lots of vendors and food, music, entertainment keeps it entertaining and my balcony overlooks all of it. Actually you could say there is no other place in the city than my house on those 3 particular days.....although I love it here everyday!
