It seems just weeks ago. In the Netherlands, my home county and it was amazing!
An experience to meet up in real life what you experience online ! And now the opp to do it again.
The road to hivesfest is starting ! Lets prepare to go or not.

And now a new edition. Across the world on the other side we were last May.

So when I got a message with the question in dm,

I had to dive into the @hivefest blog which I missed during my stay in Austria and a Italy.

I saw 22-26 sept and had to look into it, Rosarito sounds exciting and a lady you want to meet up with aswell. Surfitas well I did some surfing in my days and now still have a paddle board. But with travelling 6 countries in 8 months this most certainly was not on my mind and on the agenda but he MEXICO !! Viva la Vida loca …

I went on google and first looked for San Diego flights.
You can fly into Tijuana or to San Diego.
I want to be there one day before and leave on Tuesday in the evening , or on Wednesday early in the day. The fact that the time difference with europe is a few hours is a bitch, because I already had that experience twice this year, and the jet lag is a pain.
Or I am just getting old.

The flights will take between 14 and 18 hours. I see Air Canada and United.
I see that going to Tijuana is expensive.
19 hours of travel and 1200 dollar minimum.

The fact that there is so much going on on Schiphol Amsterdam is maybe also why I will look at Belgium aswell. Sometimes they fly direct and Dutch airlines do not. But amsterdam is a first.
I see Brussels is 912 dollar with British Airways. I know they have excel service not in the least important when the travel is so long.

Amsterdam has the United option. I flew with United this year and also flew with this airline before and I also like them very much. They even have dutch personell. Although I also try to look at KLM because maybe I can arrange to fly with my bestie who is a stewardess and flies on this city.
She will look into IPB where you travel with her on a free chair and for a small fee.

NEXT : THE HOTEL

The Rosaito looks great and there is so much to do. At the word Spa they had me and the offer : 5 days 455 dollar, that’s a great price. The beach hotel and spa have rooms for hivefest almost all with ocean view!
The Hive ticket thanks to @valueplan is 485 dollar but I might wanna take a higher ticket. Are you still with me with the calculator?

I have to look into my suit. On hivefest that was a @ecency business suit, now it has to be a bathing suit. I have to see if that can be made.

I have to watch the Grand Prix of Japan online that’s when and if I can attend.
A lot of thinking to do and arrange all to be possible here. I might even go with hubby and turn him into a hiver aswell. Older kids can take care of younger kids right?
