"Where are we now Jackie?", a guy in a full adventure gear speaks to his companion.
"We are now in a jungle named Gigas, this jungle is known for the abnormal sizes of the trees and animals that grows and lives in it", a floating sphere tells the guy.
"Wait, what is that? That's a female human being", the guy notices someone from afar. It's a woman to a branch on a tree right next to theirs.
"That is weird, there is no record of people living in Gigas", Jackie stated.
"I see, then we need to talk to her then- what, wait!", the guy shouts at the woman across the other tree because the woman is already leaving. The woman stops for a moment cause of the guy's shout but still continues leaving her place.
"She seems to be not interested to any conversation", Jackie says.
"If that is so, then we need to chase her", the guy said before posing into a launching pose, "activate boost!"
The guy jumps off the tree with great power from his point. His jump left a crater to the branch where he jumps from.
Right after he lands to the next tree, he started running towards the direction where the woman went to.
"Jackie, keep tracking the heat trails she leaves", the guy says to his companion.
"Affirmative"
"There she is, wait lady!", the guy shouts at the lady that was just a few meters away from him. The woman stops and looks at him, and then...
"Blaaaag", a giant gorilla from the sky blocks his way right before the guy was able to see the woman closely.
"Huu, huu, haa, haa", the gorilla cries while hitting it's chest with both it's arms. After doing so, the gorilla launches an attack with both his arms towards the guy, "Plaaag"
The guy dodges the attack by rolling aside and then launches a counter attack with his weapon that is attached to one of his arms.
"Poom", the guy's counter attack hits the gorilla right below it's ribs but didn't hurted the gorilla even a bit. The gorilla then attacks again quickly with his left arm, "plaag!"
The guy barely dodges by backing off a little, cause of that, the guy has been thrown from where he was standing forward, just a few feet away from where he was.
"Ahhh!, This gorilla!", the guy gets pissed off and uses another of his gadgets, this time, his arm gets augmented.
"No, please, stop!", the woman gets into the middle of the fight to stop it.
"Don't worry, I don't intend killing it."
"What do you want from me?"
"I just want to talk to you"
"..."
"I'm looking for a place called Babylon and through my journeys, my current leads brought me here"
"I'm sorry but I don't know anything about Babylon"
"It is surprising to see a human being in such an environment like Gigas, I assume that you live with some other humans like you somewhere here", Jackie tells to the woman.
"..."
"Just leave her be Jackie, she already said she doesn't know, let's just find other clues out there", the guy said before turning his back to the woman.
"In the village", the woman speaks right before the guy gets far from her.

"There is a village nearby, there are some wise mystic elders there, they might know something about Babylon. I can show you guys where it is, I live there"
The woman brought the guy and Jackie to her village. There, right in the entrance, they walked a not so long passage towards the village.
"I'm Rikla, I'm a daughter of one of the chiefs in this village that we're going to", the woman said.
"I don't know if introductions are necessary since we will be leaving right away after we see and hear some things from your elders"
"My name is Jackie, nice to meet you Rikla...", the guy slapped Jackie for interfering suddenly in their conversation.
"My names it,'s the new version of the name Mark. Back in my place where I came from, everything is already advanced. So advance that even we, the citizen's names evolved into weird sounding names"
"Merk?"
"..."
"I don't really find that name weird"
The three of them reached the end of the passage. There, they saw a village hidden inside a big tree trunk.
The village has everything, from water supply coming form a water fall created from a gigantic vine to crops from unknown plants, and house made out of wood and stones.
"Wow, this is amazing, none of my data knows any of this place", Jackie says.
"Cause our village has been hiding from place to place for centuries now, since the dawn era. Back then, our ancestors used to live outside, free, not worrying about anything, but then they came. Everything changed and we were forced to live hiding all the time"
*"Who are them?", Merk asks.
"The Replings, a clan of reptile people that came out of nowhere and started terrorizing us Pansis", Rikla said with seriousness in her voice.
"..."
"Rikla, who is this guy?", a man from the village asks.
"He is a traveler from a far away land. He came here to ask something about a place he was looking for"
"Why did you brought them here? Don't you know how dangerous bringing people you don't know with you in our village?"
"..."
"First, you kept on getting outside the village no matter how much we forbid you, then now, you brought an outsider here along with you, inside our guardian tree... Are you out of your mind?"
"Don't worry, they'll leave right away after they see the elders"
"No, they have to leave now!"
You brought us here even though were not allowed? Why? I'm sorry sir we didn't know about..."*, Merks statement has been interupted.
"Father, this man and his ball can help us, I saw how he defeated gorri alone"
"Help?", Merk says.
After a few moments, a man from the village screams, "Ahh, put me down!"
"What is that?", Rikla's father rushed to see what was happening. There, they saw a large lizard holding one of the villagers, *"Toka, toka, toka! Atlast we found you *Pansis!"
*"A Repling!"
"That's a Repling? It's big, but it doens really look strong"
"What are you saying, can't you see that monster? It's not only large, it can also hide itself by changing it's color and go invisible like what it did to get inside here with out being noticed"
"Yeah, but large doesn't mean strong and doesn't hiding also shows that it's weak? Like you guys do?", Merk says before walking on front of the Repling.
"Hey, Repling! Don't you have any home to come back to?", Merk calls the Repling.
".?."
"What are you? You don't look like a Pansi"
"Cause I am not"
"You have nothing to do with this, don't put your head in the hole, punk! Mind your business"
"This is my business, because of me, you got here"
"...you're right there, the lady showed you their village with out even thinking, thanks to you, we will now able to take all these Pansis to become our pets. But even it matters to you, what can you do about it? Punch me?"
"Good question!", Merk charges as he spoke and launches a big uppercut that sends the Repling flying upwards.
"Ahhh", the Repling shouts in mid air and crash a dent in the inner walls of the tree that the Pansis where hiding to.
"See what I mean, they're not strong, they're just big"
"Ha? Ha? What?", Rikla's father was speechless with what he saw.
"What, what have you done? Now because of what you did, the Replings will now kill us all"
"Why would you let that happen? Fight back!"
"It's easy for you to say. Who are you? You're just an outside that came here and ruined things just because my stupid daughter believed you, that Repling you punched just now is just one of the hundreds of thousands that will come here to kill us all"
"Father, stop it, don't blame him anymore, it's all my fault"
"No! It's not your fault, neither those lizards... Have shame in yourselves, chief"
"Tsk, this guy is nuts, Rikla, help everyone with packing up, the whole village is leaving this place"
Rikla and her father left Merk and Jackie to where they are. As soon as they left, Merk sits down to where he was sitting and brings out his snacks and started eating.
"Merk, what are you planning?", Jackie asks.
"What do you think am I about to do?", Merk says while stuffing his mouth with all the snack he just to took out from his luggage.
