Electroneum is quickly becoming a popular pick. You can mine this coin with your unused CPU power, or all of your CPU power if wanted. There are also mobile miner apps for android phones that work very well. I personally use ETNminer downloaded for free from the PlayStore.

First, you will need to make a wallet.

Go to https://downloads.electroneum.com/ and select the Offline Wallet Generator - Browser version as long as you have Google Chrome. And you should get something that resembles this...

Now, to mine this from any windows based Laptop or Desktop using your CPU go to:

Download the most recent version of Claymore Miner zip file.

Extract files to somewhere you will find them.

Go to the config.txt and make it look like the following:

-o represents the pool address
-u represents YOUR wallet address
-p represents pool password(which is usually x)

If you're in Europe or Asia you should choose another pool closer to you. Enter your public wallet address for wallet address. Close and save file.

Launch the NsCpuCNMiner64.exe and if everything is working you should be mining! :)

And enter your public wallet address.
