Hi Friends,
Like many kids, my son loves riding his bike. He is getting better and more comfortable with it each day, which has been fun to watch.
His latest trick is to go fast, lock his breaks and skid the tires – he calls it “smoking the tires”. Here he is in action:
Well, all this smoking the tires has finally caused his tire to be permanently smoked! He went right through the tread and popped the tube:
Oh well! We already bought a new tire so he is back to smoking the tires…
I did this too when I was younger, but perhaps not to the point of completely destroying the tires!
