Y siguiendo nuestro recorrido llegamos a las Cataratas, está sería la última parada para quedarnos y disfrutar del río y sus cascadas.
Hay que subir unas escaleras para llegar a las cascadas pero en el camino nos detuvimos por unas empanadas y conectarnos al wifi del lugar, ya que en todo el camino no tenemos señal móvil.
Nosotros llevamos pepitos y chocolate flaquito.
Al subir nos percatamos que había muchísimas pero muchísimas personas que tuvieron la misma idea que nosotros. No había ni un huequito para poder dejar nuestras cosas y bañarnos con tranquilidad.
Sin pensar mucho caminamos y buscamos un lugar más despejado y lo encontramos, no era uno de los mejores para estar pero había tranquilidad. Allí nos bañamos un rato hasta que decidimos regresar.
Al salir comenzó a llover lo que nos obligó a parar en el camino y una señora nos dió alojó y mangos. Nos Prometimos que al regresar le llevaremos algo por su amabilidad.

Continuing on our tour, we arrived at the waterfalls; this would be our last stop to relax and enjoy the river and its cascades.
You have to climb some stairs to reach the waterfalls, but along the way we stopped for some empanadas and to connect to the Wi-Fi there, since we hadn’t had any cell service the whole way.

As we climbed, we realized there were so, so many people who’d had the same idea as us. There wasn’t even a tiny spot to set our things down and take a dip in peace.
Without thinking too much about it, we walked on, looking for a less crowded spot—and we found one. It wasn’t the best place to be, but it was peaceful. We swam there for a while until we decided to head back.
On the way out, it started to rain, which forced us to stop along the way, and a woman gave us shelter and some mangoes. We promised ourselves that when we return, we’ll bring her something to thank her for her kindness.
