With the weekend approaching, I am already thinking about having some fun and getting outside as the weather is very nice.
The other day, my kids and wife went to some local botanical gardens and explored a little bit. I always feel that kids need the chance to figure things out on their own – through touch, taste, smell, etc. So we try to let them go around these sorts of places at their own pace, just soaking it all in and connecting the dots in their head about the world around them.

Personally, I still love exploring new places and experiencing things that are different than what I am around each day… I am glad my kids also like doing this as well!
